"Passants parmi les pierres", curated by Thomas Demand, brings together 27 artistic positions across photography, film, and sculpture — works that move between observation and reconstruction, memory and staging, image and history. Part of the exhibition is Thomas Struth’s "Kreuzung alte Hauptstrasse, Yamaguchi 1986" from 1986, a work that quietly captures the tension between architecture, movement, and human presence. As throughout the exhibition, the image becomes more than documentation: it becomes a space of perception, suggestion, and thought. Accompanied by subjective captions by Clemens J. Setz, the exhibition unfolds as a spatial promenade through fjk3 — a choreography of passages, sightlines, and encounters where seeing and thinking merge. The exhibition also comprises works by David Claerbout, Jeff Wall, and many others.
