Miu Miu presents the third international edition of Tales & Tellers, initiated by Miuccia Prada, conceived by Goshka Macuga, and curated by Elvira Dyangani Ose. The project brings together fashion, film, and contemporary art. It is based on the 31 short films from the Miu Miu Women’s Tales series, directed by women filmmakers, as well as seven artistic interventions presented during Miu Miu runway shows from Spring/Summer 2022 to Spring/Summer 2025. At its core is the role of women as storytellers, keepers of knowledge, and carriers of cultural narratives. Following presentations in Paris (2024) and New York (2025), Tales & Tellers has been reimagined for the Shanghai Exhibition Center in 2026 and expanded to include the latest Women’s Tales films. Actors bring characters from the films to life through immersive performances, creating a dialogue between live performance and film projections that offers new perspectives on memory, identity, and female narratives. The production responds to the historic setting of the Shanghai Exhibition Center, whose architecture and history become an integral part of the experience. The exhibition design is by OMA / AMO.
